Quim Fontané

Quim is the most successful European Freestyle Paddler of all time, he has won virtually all major freestyle events in the world, from World and European Championships to the Hurley Classic or Galway Fest. He helps designing the world famous Guigui Prod shapes that EXO proudly produces on their plastic version. Stories tell he can also be seen in deep alpine gorges, running big stouts or accomplishing FDs in the Pyrenees although there is little proof of this second identity as a creekboater. In truth, Quim is a “total kayak” and feels comfortable in any sort of white water; from big water, steep creeks, sticky holes or big waves. Since 2019 Quim started the European Whitewater School, which aims to become a hub for the future freestyle & whitewater legends of kayaking. Quim is proud to be able to call himself part of the EXO family and shares with our brand his southernly mood and easygoing temper we’re well known for.
