Come la maggior parte dei canoisti meranesi Luca ha iniziato con lo slalom. Ma le porte erano presto troppo “strette” per lui, ed è presto passato all’alto corso e questo gli ha permesso di viaggiare il mondo in kayak (Messico, Nuova Zelanda, Costa Rica e quasi ovunque in Europa). Dalla creazione della prima XT300 Luca collabora con EXO nel test di nuovi modelli e rappresentando il marchio con il team; negli ultimi anni lo avrete sicuramente incontrato a qualche evento o gara – per esempio al King of the Alps, che organizza.
Luca ha un master in microbiologia dopo il quale ha avviato una proprio fungaia – ZioFungo. Parallelamente ha contribuito a fondare BASIS Venosta – un Innovation Hub, per il quale lavora come project manager e consulente per aziende. Luca è nel test-team Hiko e, oltre a tutto il resto, è nel soccorso alpino di Martello.
Visto che Luca preferisce il kayak e l’insegnamento lavora dal 2013 per S2S, e qui gestisce, tra l’altro i corsi di sicurezza e tecnica.
Like most kayakers in Merano, Luca started with slalom. But the gates were soon too “narrow” for him, and he soon switched to the whitewater which allowed him to travel the world (Mexico, New Zealand, Costa Rica and almost everywhere in Europe). Since the creation of the first XT300 Luca has collaborated with EXO in testing new models and representing the brand with the team; in recent years you have certainly met him at events and races – for example at the King of the Alps, which he organises. Luca has a master’s degree in microbiology after which he started his own mushroom farm – ZioFungo. At the same time he helped to found BASIS Venosta – an Innovation Hub, for which he works as project manager and consultant for companies. Luca is in the Hiko test-team and, on top of everything else, he is in the Martello mountain rescue.
Since Luca prefers kayaking and teaching he is working since 2013 for S2S, and here he runs, among other things, safety and technical courses.
